RECEPTION

The public information and reception point, the ticket office and the bookshop are located at the entrance of the Museum. At the reception you will find qualified staff who speak Italian and English.

It is also possible to forward comments, request information and clarifications relating to viewing the Museum, purchasing tickets or regarding these regulations, using the form HERE.

OPENING HOURS

The Pinocchio Museum Experience is open from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. The only days it is closed are December 25th, January 1st and Easter Sunday. See the "VISIT TIMES" section to find out when you can access the shows.

CAPACITY

The Museum can accommodate 200 people at the same time.

Viewing of the immersive area is reserved for a maximum of 25 people per single experience.

LANGUAGES

The Museum can be visited in two languages: Italian or English.

The dialogues of the immersive path alternate between Italian and English based on a scheduled calendar of different times. It is important that the visitor correctly chooses the time slot that includes the screening in the desired language when purchasing the ticket.

TIMES

The museum itinerary includes two sections:

an immersive multimedia route
an information-historical area

ROSETTES

Based on the entry time, each visitor will receive a rosette with a specific color. This symbology will help the Museum staff to provide the correct order for visiting the different rooms.

REPEATABILITY OF THE VISIT

The ticket entitles you to only one visit. Once the tour is over, for organizational reasons it is not possible to repeat the experience again.

GENERAL BEHAVIOUR

All visitors are required to observe behavior that complies with common rules of good manners and maximum correctness. In particular, it is prohibited:

• smoking cigarettes or vaping electronic cigarettes

• consume food or drinks except water

• touch or lean on screens or installations

• sit or run inside the walkways

• keep your voice loud enough to disturb other visitors

• do not respect the general indications of the museum signs

• throw waste outside the designated containers

• carry out any promotional or paid service.

It is strictly forbidden to bring into the Museum:

• guns and firearms

• devices designed to stun or immobilize

• objects with a sharp point or sharp end

• work tools

• blunt objects

• explosive, flammable substances and devices

• excessively heavy and bulky objects.

Tickets can be purchased at the Museum reception or online. Admission is allowed to a maximum of 25 people per shift: to have priority and guaranteed access, online booking and purchase are recommended, especially on weekends and holidays.

To take advantage of reductions and free admissions, you must show the document proving your category before the ticket is issued, regardless of whether it was purchased online or at the ticket office.

Throughout the museum tour, staff are authorized to request the receipt issued when purchasing tickets at the entrance, which must therefore be kept for the entire visit.

Any form of ticket purchase or sale by unauthorized third parties is prohibited.

ONLINE TICKETS

The ticket can be purchased up to 1 hour before the visit, exclusively from the website www.pinocchioflorence.it

Online payment is contextual to the reservation and can be made by credit card, debit card or PayPal.

It is advisable to keep the automatic email that arrives after the purchase to possibly show to the Museum staff when the receipt is issued.

VISITING HOURS

The full experience lasts about an hour, of which 30 minutes are dedicated to the immersive route. The Museum can be visited in two languages: Italian or English.

The shows in Italian are held every day at the following times:

The shows in English are held every day at the following times:

11:20am | 1.20pm | 3.20pm | 5.20pm

LATE ENTRY

Holders of a ticket valid for a specific date and time who arrive late will be able to ask the Museum staff to access one of the subsequent screenings on the same day only.

The Museum staff, if they find actual availability in one of the different access sections, reserves the right to consent to the request for late access.

WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND

Pursuant to art. 59, I paragraph, letter. n) of the Consumer Code, since the object of the ticket purchase contract is the provision of services relating to free time, the right of withdrawal provided for by the art. 52 of the Consumer Code.

The refund may be granted if the need to cancel the visit is due to causes of force majeure within the Museum or in any case linked to the city of Florence that lead to the sudden extraordinary closure of the space.

The staff reserves the right to accept any requests for date changes if these are received within 24 hours of the date initially chosen for the visit. The rescheduling will be evaluated based on the places available at the time of the request.

GROUPS & SCHOOLS

The group can consist of a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 25 people per shift.

Groups and schools can send a request for a personalized quote by filling out the form in the ticket area under "groups" or "schools".

Group visits must take place under the guidance of one or more chaperones depending on the number of people in the group: chaperones are responsible for compliance with the rules contained in these Regulations and for the good conduct of the group. Group members must not move away from the chaperone or disturb other visitors. The Museum staff can, at any time, restrict the conditions of access and group visits based on the overall capacity.

In the case of large school classes, booking management may require up to 3 weeks' notice.

UNACCOMPANIED CHILDREN

Children under the age of 12 can only enter if accompanied by adults.

Non-ambulatory children must be held while watching the immersive route.

Anyone who finds any lost children is asked to bring them back to the ticket office so as to facilitate the search for their parents by the Museum staff.

ACCESSIBILITY

People with disabilities can access the two museum sections individually or accompanied.

The laboratory area, located on the -1 floor of the building, can only be reached by stairs and is therefore not accessible to strollers or wheelchairs.

Free admission is reserved for disabled visitors with appropriate certification.

The experience in the immersive rooms is not currently recommended for people with hearing disabilities.

Viewing the projections is not recommended for people who suffer from proven vision problems or forms of photosensitive epilepsy.

ANIMALS

Pinocchio Museum Experience loves animals. To avoid inconvenience and possible stress, since the Museum is a crowded place with the presence of multimedia projection in some rooms, it only accepts small pets accompanied by their owners in a suitable carrier.

IMAGE ACQUISITION

In the Museum rooms, the use of smartphones and cameras is permitted, without activating the flash, with the sole purpose of acquiring images or recording videos for personal and amateur interest. The use of tripods and monopods is prohibited.

Filming for commercial, editorial, cinematographic, documentary, journalistic or television purposes must be expressly authorized by the Management. For filming in which Museum staff may appear, in addition to authorization from the Management, a release from the interested parties must also be obtained.

PORTRAIT ROOM

In the Museum there is a room dedicated to portraits where it is possible to interact with the installations and take photographs even with the use of flash.

BOOKSHOOP

The material present in the Bookshop can be purchased directly at the Museum reception.

Visitors who witness a theft are required to immediately notify the Museum staff. In the event of a confirmed theft attempt, the Museum staff reserves the right to report the incident to the Police.

WARDROBE

The Museum is located in an ancient building in the center of Florence. There is no wardrobe space provided. However, it is possible to leave trolleys if they are small, in an area adjacent to the reception for the period of visiting the Museum only. However, availability is not guaranteed.

For the parking of strollers or wheelchairs, the Management guarantees the availability only of an open, unsupervised area inside the Museum. However, it is mandatory to fold strollers to reduce space. It is recommended not to leave objects unattended inside the Museum.

LOST ITEMS

Lost objects will be kept at the Museum for a maximum of 30 days. After this period, those of value will be handed over to the public security bodies. It is not possible to ship forgotten items.

ILLNESS OR INJURY

In the event of sudden illness, accident or injury to a visitor, please immediately contact the Museum staff who will in turn call the health services.

SAFETY

In case of massive crowds and in all situations where the safety of people or infrastructures may be compromised, the Museum Management reserves the right to totally or partially close access, change opening hours or take necessary measures to guarantee full safety of the structure and the passage of people.

OBSERVANCE

Failure by a visitor to comply with the provisions of this Regulation or the aforementioned provisions may result in expulsion from the building and, if necessary, the use of public force.

For anything not expressly provided for in this regulation, please refer to the laws and civil code in force. For any dispute the competent court is that of Florence.
